This is a really well written book. it is a romantic suspense book, and it is not a series…yeah! A interesting tail involving several flawed characters who through a common event find redemption. I highly recommend, especially if you enjoy this genre.
This is a suspenseful book with well defined interesting sympathetic characters, a really nasty villain, and a plot with multiple surprise developments. The synopsis on the Amazon web site for the book outlines the story very well with the exception of noting that the story ends happily for the main characters and in death for the villain and some of the secondary characters. Be advised that this is not the book for you if you are the least bit squeamish about plots that feature just about every depraved human activity imaginable: e.g. rape, murder, kidnapping, mutilation, serial killers, and child abandonment. Explicit sex and associated language are also included. Given the above warning, IMHO this is the best novel the Kindle First Pick book series has offered this year.
