This book is perfect for 3rd year medical students and will carry you through up until your residency. this book is the perfect size it fits in your white coat pockets easily. It’s a great resource to pull out and use on the floors.
It’s a life-saver especially when you’re on a time-crunch during pre-rounds. My only (sort of) gripe is that each section is so densely packed with information that sometimes it can be difficult to understand what it’s saying. But that’s why it’s “Pocket Medicine” AKA it fits in your pocket, and it’s not supposed to be Harrison’s. It’s supposed to be used as a quick reference for pertinent positives/negatives, diagnosis, and management, and does its job well.
