Even for someone like myself who has been involved in music since almost birth, this book is an excellent way to start with piano. It is set for a great pace, and that pace can be whatever you need it to be. I still work with an actual teacher, and for me, this is the way to go. I recommend this book to even someone who knows treble clef, and just wants to learn all the basics needed to learn how to play, read and understand music.
