This is a great story. Interesting and suspenseful. The characters are likable (or not in the case of the villains) and believable. Read it! Then stop. Book two is okay and book three is awful. The plot goes to hell and the characters become stupid and quite unlikable. Trust me. Read this one and the second if you must but then stop.

This is recommended for teens 14+, mainly for the fact that there is a bit of violence and the topics are for a mature mind. But, advanced reader younger kids will enjoy. Recommended for fans of The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins and throw back fans of Orson Scott Card's Ender's Game series.
