Paula Cappa builds momentum like a speeding train as she drags you reluctantly along to an anticipated grim conclusion. Only, she twists and turns her plot, to question faith, hope, and the certainties that we've come to accept. A fine mix of crime drama, ghost and finally touching on faith and the core belief's of humanity, Cappa slides into the ending with a whopper of a twist leaving the reader aching with anxiety for the parents Antonia and Adam. This was a good read, with lots to consider, especially after finishing the book.
