I'm sure it was the subject matter, but he couldn't wait to read this every night. He would read it before school, and when he was done reading it, twice, he lent it to his friends with great enthusiasm that was contagious. Great for a boy who loves soccer more than reading.

The story was one we read together, and it showed him as a young boy, and this my grandson related to, with a soccer ball always at his feet. Leo overcame some difficulties due to health issues. He also was a giving person in his foundation for children. I rate this book high, because it helped my grandson see the good in life, despite the difficulties people face, and showed family loyalty.

It's one of the best books I've ever read about soccer or soccer players but anybody who's getting introduced in soccer should read this book, and if they like prefer messi a great player, I do think he's the best but you may not so read this book if you love soccer.

This is a great story and well written in a style that makes it a fun and an easy read while providing all the background and insight into this amazing super star! Kids and adults alike will find this a rewarding read.
