The Maze Runner was well put together and a solid read. The author did an excellent job on pacing, plot, and CHARACTER, in spite of what some negative reviewers stated. If you want a book with some protagonist going on and on about their past, go read a book like Divergent. If you want a fast paced read with three dimensional characters based on the way they act, this is the book to read.

The Maze Runner is a great book for anyone who likes action and adventure as well as fantasy books. The plot of this book is great because it clearly explains the problem as well as gives detailed descriptions of the characters while keeping your attention with constant action the whole time. The main character, Thomas, wakes up in an elevator and can't remember anything than his first name. When the elevator stops, he finds himself to be in a place called the Glade which is surrounded by a huge maze full of monsters called Grievers.
The Glade is full of teen boys until the first girl ever arrives in the elevator that he first arrived in. Thomas soon finds out that he had a telepathic connection to the new girl, Teresa. Read this book to find out what happens next! I would recommend this book as well as the others in the series to a friend because these books can keep anyone's attention as well as entertain them.
