A tight mystery which moves nonstop from the first page. You know who the killer is from earlier on but the people trying to catch him do not until almost the very end. The 'kidnapped - escaped - subsequent encounter' genre of this book is handled much better than most. Excellent character development, well written, and almost flawless editing - a treat to read. This will lead me to other books by Simon Wood. Highly recommended for the mystery reader. Would also be interested in reading more about Zoe Sutton in a future book.
