I highly recommend this book. Adrian and Sydney's relationship is so amazing. This book picks up where the last one left off. Sydney is confused about how to deal with her feelings for Adrian. Meanwhile, Ms. Terwiliger has her delving further into magic to protect herself from an unlikely threat. The Marcus mystery proves to further Sydney's doubts about the Alchemists and has her doing things shed never done before. Just as she accepts everything and begins coming to terms with who she's becoming, a complicated obstacle gets thrown on her path. One that can change everything.
