Corrie Ten Boom repeats some parts from other books but if you did not read the others previously you would not understand her situation if she did not repeat. There is plenty of new material in here as well if you have read her other books. A truly amazing life she led and a wonderful story teller. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK.

Although this is a book of meditations, it is a book of meditations that relates chapters before and after each other. Sometimes, Corrie even spends multiple chapters discussing a topic. Even though the meditations are labeled as devotions, it is all chronological since the book is based off Corrie Ten Boom’s radio broadcasts. Corrie prays for others and praises the Lord at the end of each devotional. She may repeat a favorite piece of scripture a time or two, but it is best to be open minded, especially since they were her favorites and she was rising in years.

About the Author
The late Corrie ten Boom is the author of Reflections of God’s Glory, Letters from Prison, and In My Father’s House. She also wrote the beloved international bestseller, The Hiding Place. Made into a movie by the same name, The Hiding Place portrays her family’s efforts to hide Jews during the German occupations of The Netherlands during World War II, and of how God sustained Corrie through the atrocities of a concentration camp after she and her family were captured by the Nazis. Upon her release and until her death in1983, Corrie traveled the world, preaching the gospel to the lost and encouraging the church with her message of love, faith, and forgiveness.
