This is a different type of suspense book. Instead of the story centering in the Amish community, the main characters are an Englischer and a former Amishman who still have some contact with Amish family members. The storyline is interesting, suspenseful, and kept my attention. While the actual story occurs over about about a two week period, it moves along at the right pace and doesn’t get bogged down in details or move too fast.
